  • 1 tablespoon unsulphured molasses
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tart apple peel
  • Ice (for iced version)
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 shot espresso
  • Optional toppings: cinnamon sugar, caramel syrup

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine water, dark brown sugar, molasses, cinnamon, and tart apple peel. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat while whisking until dissolved. Reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes until slightly thickened.
  2. Brew one shot of espresso using your espresso machine or stovetop maker.
