- 1/3 cup salted butter (melted)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg (beaten)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips
- Preheat your oven to 350℉ (177℃) and lightly grease and flour an 8.5×4.5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas with melted butter. Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
- Sprinkle baking soda, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt over the banana mixture; stir gently.
- Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour until just combined; fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if using.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
