  • 6 slices turkey bacon (chopped)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or pot over medium heat, cook chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Drain excess grease if necessary, then stir in the cooked turkey bacon along with beef broth, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Simmer on low for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
  5. Stir in butter until melted and fully incorporated.
