  • 500g diced chicken breast
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare rice according to package instructions.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Sauté diced chicken with salt and pepper until cooked through (5-7 minutes). Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add sesame oil, onions, and garlic; sauté until fragrant. Add broccoli and mushrooms, cooking until tender-crisp (3-4 minutes).
  4. Return chicken to the pan; add soy sauce and optional chili flakes. Mix well.
  5. Combine cornstarch with water to create a slurry; pour into the pan to thicken the sauce. Simmer briefly.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
