  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (regular or gluten-free)
  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 4 tablespoons melted vegan butter (for swirl)
  • ⅓ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon (for swirl)
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • 2 tablespoons melted vegan butter (for frosting)
  • 2 oz softened vegan cream cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, melted vegan butter, maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, mix baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, flour, and oats until just combined.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan then create a swirl mixture by combining melted vegan butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon; spread half over the batter.
  5. Layer the remaining batter on top followed by the rest of the swirl mixture.
  6. Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before frosting with powdered sugar mixed with vegan cream cheese.
