  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon (for the swirl)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the creamed mixture, alternating with sour cream until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Mix the cinnamon swirl ingredients and sprinkle half over the batter. Add remaining batter and top with the rest of the swirl mixture, gently swirling it with a knife.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
