  • 2 medium carrots, diced
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 2 rings (13 ounces each) turkey kielbasa, sliced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 cans Great Northern white beans, drained and rinsed
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium-high heat, heat vegetable oil. Brown sliced turkey kielbasa for about 7-9 minutes until golden; set aside.
  2. In the same pot, melt butter and sauté onion, carrots, garlic, salt, and pepper for 10-12 minutes until softened.
  3. Sprinkle flour over vegetables and stir for one minute to thicken.
  4. Gradually add chicken broth and whole milk, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Return kielbasa to the pot along with rinsed beans.
  6. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 15-20 minutes until thickened.
