  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp blackened seasoning (or Cajun seasoning)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for extra heat
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and reserve some pasta water.
  2. 2. Season the chicken with blackened seasoning and smoked paprika. Sear in olive oil on medium-high heat until fully cooked; set aside.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic in butter, then add chicken broth and simmer. Stir in heavy cream.
  4. 4. Whisk in grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Toss the cooked linguine into the sauce and adjust consistency with reserved pasta water.
  5. 5. Slice the rested chicken and serve over pasta, garnished with parsley.
