- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp blackened seasoning (or Cajun seasoning)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for extra heat
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
- 1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and reserve some pasta water.
- 2. Season the chicken with blackened seasoning and smoked paprika. Sear in olive oil on medium-high heat until fully cooked; set aside.
- 3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic in butter, then add chicken broth and simmer. Stir in heavy cream.
- 4. Whisk in grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Toss the cooked linguine into the sauce and adjust consistency with reserved pasta water.
- 5. Slice the rested chicken and serve over pasta, garnished with parsley.
