  • 200g fettuccine or linguine
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200ml heavy cream (or half-and-half)
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 250g shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • Salt, pepper, paprika to taste

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Sauté shrimp seasoned with salt, pepper, and paprika in butter until pink (about 2-3 minutes per side). Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in parmesan until melted; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Combine drained pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency. Fold in cooked shrimp.
  5. Serve with steamed broccoli and garlic bread.
