  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 14.5 oz diced tomatoes (canned)
  • 15 oz pumpkin puree (canned)
  • 15 oz chili beans (canned)
  • 15 oz black beans (canned or home cooked)
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 ½ tablespoons chili powder

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground turkey and chopped onion; cook until the turkey is crumbly and no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the cooked turkey mixture to a slow cooker. Add diced tomatoes, pumpkin puree, chili beans, black beans, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and chili powder. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat for approximately 3 hours. Once cooked, serve hot with your favorite toppings.
