  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 packs ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ cup sliced green onions
  • ½ cup shredded carrots (optional, for crunch)
  • 1 soft-boiled egg, halved (for topping)
  • Sesame seeds & nori strips, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and black pepper.
  2. Add the sliced chicken strips and toss until they are well coated in the marinade. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated chicken strips and cook them for about 5-6 minutes until they are golden brown and fully cooked. Set aside.
  5. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
  6. Sauté 4 cloves of minced garlic until fragrant (around 30 seconds).
  7. Pour in 1½ cups of heavy cream along with ½ cup of chicken broth while stirring constantly.
  8. Add salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes; simmer for about 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  9. Stir in ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  10. Bring a pot of water to a boil; cook ramen noodles according to package instructions.
  11. Drain and toss with 1 teaspoon of sesame oil before setting aside.
  12. Divide cooked ramen noodles into serving bowls.
  13. Spoon creamy garlic sauce generously over each bowl of noodles.
  14. Top with fiery chicken strips, sliced green onions, shredded carrots if using, and halved soft-boiled egg.
  15. Garnish with sesame seeds and nori strips before serving immediately.
