  • 1/4 cup (50 g) granulated white sugar
  • 2 egg yolks, at room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup (170 g) Halloween M&Ms
  • 3 tbsp (36 g) Halloween jimmies
  • Candy eyeballs for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, black cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream softened butter with both sugars until light and fluffy using an electric mixer.
  4. Add egg yolks and vanilla extract; mix until pale and fluffy.
  5. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined to form the dough.
  6. Fold in Halloween M&Ms and jimmies carefully using a rubber spatula.
  7. Use a cookie scoop to place dough balls on prepared baking sheets, spacing them two inches apart. Decorate with extra M&Ms and candy eyeballs if desired.
  8. Bake for 10-11 minutes until set but soft in the center; let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
