  • 35 saltine crackers
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 10 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Assorted toppings (eye candies, candy corn, Reese’s pieces, Halloween sprinkles)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the saltines in rows.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly for about 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  4. Pour the butter mixture over the saltines, spreading it evenly with a rubber spatula.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 4-5 minutes until bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let sit for 5 minutes to soften.
  7. Spread the melted chocolate evenly across the saltines.

  9. Chill in the fridge until hardened (about 1-2 hours).
