  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar (divided)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 8 ounces raspberries

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and 1 cup sugar over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves completely (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Let cool.
  2. Blend raspberries with remaining sugar until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds.
  3. Pour cooled base into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer instructions until soft serve consistency is reached.
  4. Divide churned base into two parts; mix one with orange juice and the other with lime juice.
  5. Layer mixtures in a container, alternating raspberry, lime, and orange flavors. Freeze for 4-6 hours until firm.
