  • 1 cup dry ditalini pasta

  • 2 medium carrots (peeled and diced)
  • 3 stalks celery (diced)

  • 1 (28-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1 (15-ounce) can dark red kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 (15-ounce) can great northern beans (drained and rinsed)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet or crockpot with browning function, cook ground beef with onions, carrots, and celery until the meat is browned and vegetables are tender.
  2. Toss dry ditalini pasta with olive oil in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave on 30% power for 3 minutes until blistered.
  3. Add all ingredients into the crock pot along with the toasted pasta; stir well.
