  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 4 stalks celery (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme (fine chopped)
  • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary (fine chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  4. In the slow cooker, combine dried bread cubes and the cooked sausage mixture.
  5. Whisk together chicken stock and eggs; pour over the bread mixture.
  6. Mix well; add more stock if needed for moisture.
  7. Cover with a kitchen towel and lid; cook on low for 4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
  8. If too wet after cooking, remove lid and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
