  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)
  • ¼ cup marinara sauce
  • ½ cup marinara sauce (for topping)
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated (for topping)
  • ½ cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, bread crumbs, eggs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Shape the mixture into a rectangular loaf on a baking sheet.
  4. Create a well in the center and fill it with mozzarella cheese and a spoonful of marinara sauce.
  5. Fold the meat around the filling to seal it completely.
  6. Spread remaining marinara sauce on top and sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
